Those people who you think are your best friends suddenly show a whole different side to their personality when it comes to actually living under one roof. The one you can guarantee will be great fun on a night out in Embrace is not so great when you wake up to a bathroom covered in sick. Again. Your sensible, reliable, friend suddenly just seems incredibly annoying when they’re demanding you turn your music down at 9pm because they need to get a good nights sleep. So at uletstudents.com we’ve decided on who our dream housemates would be to inspire you, and make sure you don’t make the same mistakes many have fallen into in the past. Firstly, everyone loves a good cook. After years at home with your dinner magically appearing on the table at 6pm it comes as quite a shock when you move out and suddenly, you have to cook for yourself. You could make the transition easier with a live in chef. We’re thinking Jamie Oliver; he’s fun, not as scary as Ramsay, and an amazing cook. OK, he might confiscate your chicken nuggets or Aslan’s kebab when you get in at 4 in the morning, but it will definitely be worth it when you come home to another one of Jamie’s recipes after a long hard day in the library. The next problem you’ll find in your student house is keeping it clean. Again, this is something it turns out does not happen by itself. So Kim and Aggie, always on hand with a mop and a feather duster, could do all the dirty work for you. Leaving you more time for your studies, and erm, going out…. Despite the past few years being somewhat lack lustre we’ve all watched Big Brother, and haven’t we always wondered what Davina would actually be like in the house?? We think she could be a perfect housemate. No need to go to the gym as she could lead you in your daily work out, you could borrow her never ending supply of shampoo, and she could match make for you with her Streetmate skills. She is the big sister you’ve always dreamed of. Finally, how about Prince Harry?
